Lily is a client who began therapy with me.  She is not actually a real person, as protecting the confidentiality of the people I see prevents me from discussing clients.  Therefore, Lily is a composite of various people that I have seen in the consulting room.  The themes and issues she presents are similar to those I have heard repeatedly over the years that I have been in practice.
